Why is this iodine different?
Detoxified iodine is in its elemental (monatomic) form. This is the form which Edgar Cayce suggested the body could recognize and fully assimilate, versus other popular forms such as Lugol's or nascent.
 
To truly support your thyroid, your body needs iodine in its most basic and usable form—monatomic iodine (I-). Most common iodine supplements, like sea kelp or Lugol’s solution, contain iodine as potassium iodide (KI), which the body must convert into monatomic iodine before it can actually use it.For anyone dealing with poor digestion, inflammation, or chronic health issues, this conversion process becomes a major hurdle. The thyroid hormone T4 (Thyroxine) is made using four atoms of iodine in the monatomic form. Trying to build T4 from diatomic iodine (I2) is nearly impossible. By supplying iodine in its single-atom form, you remove that obstacle—giving your cells and thyroid exactly what they need without adding stress to your system.
 
Unlike commercially available products, which use iodine bonded with chlorine, we use only naturally occurring iodine derived from mineral sources (but not derived from plants such as seaweed, which may contain mercury). This pure crystalline iodine is then reduced to a 1% concentration in 100% ethyl alcohol and electro-magnetically transmuted (while being suspended in a wet bath containing a mild acid solution) into the atomic state.
