In 2019, in response to a persistent inner call, Mikkel began embarking on different path, and has since been intensely focused on expanding her holistic knowledge. She is clear about her role in helping build a new paradigm of health care, outside of established systems, that is earnestly committed to addressing root causes and doing no harm.

Mikkel has formal training as a Bikram Yoga Teacher, Ergonomics Consultant, Functional Nutrition Counselor, Craniosacral Therapist, and Quantum Coach  . She enjoys supporting and learning from those also committed to an expansive  journey., and collaboration with other professionals who have complimentary skills is often sought to achieve the best outcomes.

 

Currently, her focus is on optimizing ionization and bio-terrain, regulating circadian rhythms, and supporting the body with foundational and recognizable components such as oxygen, hydrogen, minerals, isopathics, and tissue salts. Clean technology (Brown's Gas, hyperbaric oxygen, infrared devices, photobiomodulation, frequency generators, etc.) is also utilized. The goal is always support and restoration of innate healing capabilities versus suppression of symptoms.

 

Mikkel believes that increasing vitality can be much simpler than we make it if we restore the body's full potential and then get out of the way. She also understands the utmost importance of spiritual and emotional growth and development and that each individual is their own best healer, fully in charge of their personal journey.

Although Mikkel is primarily focused on supporting residential Danny's Place clients, making music, or creating in the kitchen, she is also available for fifteen or sixty minute phone or video chat appointments. Topics include oxidative therapies (chlorine dioxide, hyperbaric oxygen, Brown's Gas, etc.), product/protocol overviews, ergonomics analysis/education, and private ministerial association (PMA) formation consultation.
